About Us

Kneaded with Love was started by three friends, Mindy Salzberg-Siegel, Denise Kalt, and Barbara Wallace, during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The three women love to cook and bake and during the pandemic enjoyed making various breads and other baked goods and cooking delicious meals. The three women knew how fortunate they were to be able to purchase what they needed during the pandemic during those tough months but also realized so many families in their community did not have enough food to eat. So they started Kneaded with Love and have been baking bread for food pantries ever since. 

In 2021, we donated 802 breads to Open Hands and The Second New Hope Missionary Baptist Church food pantries.  We are proud to say and so very grateful to our over 70 bakers, that we have donated over 1600 breads as of today!!!  We hope to continue adding new bakers and expanding our reach in the community. Won't you join our grassroots community of bakers and help fight food insecurity that is on the rise?  Our nutritious and freshly baked breads are greatly appreciated!!!!

We would like to thank Papa Joes for so generously supporting this initiative with donations of gift cards for our bakers, since each baker purchases their own baking supplies.  They have also kindly donated much needed bags for Open Hands Food Pantry.
